Ingredients
6 medium apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
For the Crumble Topping:
1 cup rolled oats
½ cup all-purpose flour
½ cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
Instructions
- 1Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large bowl, toss the apple slices with lemon juice, cinnamon, and sugar. Transfer the apples to a greased baking dish.
- 2In another bowl, mix the rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Add the cubed butter and use your fingers to blend it into the dry ingredients until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- 3Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the apples.
- 4Bake for 35-40 minutes, until the apples are tender and the topping is golden brown.
