Pumpkin Spiced Pancakes

Ingredients

1 ½ cups plain flour

1 tablespoon baking powder

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg

1 cup pumpkin puree

1 cup milk

1 egg

2 tablespoons maple syrup

Instructions

    In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.

    In another bowl, mix the pumpkin puree, milk, melted butter, egg, and maple syrup until smooth.

    Gradually stir the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined.

    Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and lightly grease it with butter. Pour ¼ cup of batter for each pancake and cook until bubbles appear on the surface. Flip and cook the other side for 1-2 minutes.

    Serve with warm maple syrup, whipped cream, or a sprinkle of icing sugar.
